Join us this Wednesday at 11 a.m. for our first ever Craft Time!  For children ages 2 – 5 and their parents we are offering a free one hour craft time.  This week we will make a collage.  Young preschool aged children benefit from experimenting with art materials.  Our Craft Times are open-ended by providing the children with a variety of materials to work with and be creative.  We will not be providing an example to follow but materials for the children to create their own masterpiece.  At this age the experience of spreading the glue and learning the properties of it are valuable in not only creative art but also science.  As well the experience of carefully placing an object onto the glue is helping with fine motor development.  Our Craft Times are based on the philosophy “It’s about the process, not the product.”  Craft Time starts at 11 a.m. and is available for one hour.  Parents must supervise their children.  Please call 250-372-3500 for more information.
